Makes Markdown editing tasks seem like a walk in the part by providing you with all the necessary tools and a well organized environment
Typora is an OS X app designed to be a straightforward and efficient Markdown editor that makes it very easy for you to write and edit plain text.
Moreover, Typora smoothly integrates with your Mac’s system, giving you the impression that it is actually a native application.
Distraction-free interface that is all about keeping you focused at the task at hand
Right off the bat, it must be said that Typora differentiates itself from other Markdown editors that come with interfaces split into source and preview sections by enabling you to preview your texts in real time as you apply modifications, from within a single window.
Other worth mentioning features come in the form of support for native OS X shortcuts, tables, code fences, footnotes, lists, rich styles, and also CKJ, all in the name to keep you organized and focused on the task at hand.
OS X application that bundles a small yet powerful collection of Markdown editing tools
To further detail, Typora makes it easy for you to apply text effects, such as “strong”, “emphasis”, “code”, and “strike”, add hyperlinks, images, and block quotes, as well as to use lists, useful for managing your idea, tasks, and thoughts.
In addition, its list of features is completed by the following: integrated CodeMirror for code blocks, support for spell checking and real-time syntax highlighting for Java, C++, javascript, and XML, as well as support for footnotes and easily customizable tables.
Simple yet powerful Markdown editor for the Mac
What’s more, because staring at a simple window for long periods of time can become either boring, or either counterproductive depending on the environment you work on, Typora comes with a collection of themes, namely Github, Gothic, Newsprint, Night, and Whitey.
To conclude, it is a well-known fact that Markdown has many advantages like being intuitive, human-readable, and easily converted to HTML, and, with the help of the Typora application, you can take full advantage of what Markdown has to offer, without any compromises.
